Current General Info About COVID-19
As we write this article, the COVID-19 coronavirus has spread through 170 countries and regions across all continents inhabited by humans, with approximately 4 thousand new cases of the virus being confirmed around the globe each day.
The virus seems to be the most dangerous to senior citizens and people suffering from preexisting conditions, particularly but not limited to cardiovascular issues, diabetes, respiratory conditions, and hypertension, with most fatal cases happening in these population groups.
Currently, there is no vaccine for the virus, and so doctors are instructing people to avoid close contact with other people, keep away from large gatherings of people, and to wash their hands more frequently.
